With over 20 years of Silicon Valley experience in media relations, Ethan has successfully secured press coverage for technology startups in nearly every high-profile business and technology outlet. Ethan has secured tremendous brand awareness and thought leadership for his clients on a regular basis in publications including Fortune, Forbes, TechCrunch, Crunchbase News, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg TV, and many more. Ethan stepped outside of the technology realm in 2011 to earn his MBA in International Business from the University of Huddersfield in northern England. This global experience armed Ethan with a unique perspective on technology, business, and a global mindset that has been an integral component in 21 companies in the Treble portfolio achieving a successful exit. After spending his entire career in Silicon Valley and San Francisco, Ethan currently resides in Austin, Texas.

Michael is a Senior Vice President at Treble leading media relations efforts for venture capital firms and technology companies spanning enterprise B2B segments including security, cloud computing, IoT, big data, collaboration, artificial intelligence, blockchain, machine learning and cloud storage. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Rutgers University. Outside the office, you’ll find him tinkering with his collection of classic cars or exploring the coast of California.

Born in the epicenter of today’s technology, Palo Alto, CA, Olivia was raised by semiconductor technologists that worked for and founded some of Silicon Valley’s pioneering companies. She has deep entrepreneurial roots that evolved into her passion for scaling companies. She relocated to Austin in 2012 and has enjoyed participating in the rapidly growing tech landscape. Earlier in her career, Olivia worked with the likes of Oracle, Wells Fargo, Wildlife Conservation Network, Band of Angels, Compass Group and countless others in a traditional marketing, tradeshow and experiential events capacity. From there she ran conferences and public events for NASA where she honed her operational edge and maximized her problem solving skills while supporting the expansion of The International Space University and Singularity University. At Treble, Olivia wears many hats, with her core focus on talent acquisition, operational efficiencies and maximizing client spend. She is passionate about team building and relays on her experience as a rower and rowing coach. Olivia has been with Treble since its inception.

Matt is a Vice President with Treble and prides himself on being an integrated partner to his clients. Over the past 15+ years, Matt has specialized in helping B2B emerging growth companies develop marketing and communications strategies that have a direct impact on companies reaching their next stage of growth, with many leading to successful acquisitions and IPOs. Matt is a data-driven communications professional, building programs that require the right blend of strategy and execution to drive brand awareness, media coverage, differentiated messaging, demand generation and sales enablement that directly drive revenue growth. With his background working with technology startups, Matt specializes in bringing awareness to companies that are market disruptors, moving them to leading brands in their space. Leading PR efforts both in-house and within agencies, Matt has secured coverage across Tier 1 business publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, New York Times, Reuters, AP and others. He also understands the importance of strategic media placements and has a history of success in helping clients build sales opportunities and drive revenue through vertical trade publications. She is a seasoned communications and marketing strategist with 13+ years of experience collaborating with B2B technology organizations to develop overarching communications strategies that engage audiences and move people to action. She has a specialized focus in health tech and biotech, and has secured coverage in numerous top-tier business publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, U.S. News & World Report, Reuters, USA Today. Katie is also an experienced writer (and a former English teacher), with a Master’s Degree in English from Carnegie Mellon University. Katie has overseen the management and execution of fast-paced, intense content development programs on topics ranging from digital twin implementation planning for the aerospace and defense industries to ways artificial intelligence will inform the future of pharmacovigilance for the life sciences industry. Katie lives in San Diego, CA, lived in New York, NY for a time, and is originally from Rochester, NY. Outside of PR, she enjoys yoga, meditation, friend time, and enjoying beaches and parks with her adopted dog Milo (Meelo).

As a writer and strategist for top publications, startups, and large corporations, Jeff has honed a knack for identifying great stories and telling them in a way that connects with the target audience. At Treble, he combines deep research and analysis with big-picture planning to develop and execute content and media strategies that support client goals. Jeff launched a branded content program at one of Austin’s top startups (The Zebra) and served as the communications manager for AT&T’s first Chief Digital Officer. His writing has been featured in The New York Times, Wired, Sports Illustrated, Slate, and Texas Monthly. Jeff stays plugged in to the startup scene as a member of SXSW’s advisory board, where he provides trusted insight and advice on programming and events.

Before joining Treble, Mike was a journalist for 24 years. He worked for Bill Moyers and news organizations such as Austin Business Journal, Associated Press, Minnesota Public Radio, The Arizona Republic, MinnPost, The Salt Lake Tribune and Texas Watchdog. During his more than two decades as a reporter, Mike’s beats included technology, startups, finance, consumer packaged goods, growth and economy, cybersecurity, science, space, politics and government, education, the military and religion. His awards include a Peabody, two duPonts and a Murrow. He possesses proficiency in Spanish, which he learned as a freelance journalist in Peru in 1999 and teaching English in Barcelona, Spain, in 1992.
Mike also has taught college-level business communication at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas; middle-school students journalism at the University of North Carolina at Asheville; and, marine biology to middle-school students at the New England Aquarium in Boston. He earned a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University in New York City, and a bachelor’s degree in politics from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Mike lives in Austin, where he helps take care of pups at the city’s no-kill shelter, Austin Pets Alive!

Prior to joining Treble, Joel was an Account Executive at Archetype, where he helped lead product launch announcements and media outreach for some of the agency’s more strategic B2B clients, including Arm and VMware. Outside of work, he enjoys bouldering, playing guitar poorly, and travel planning revolved around food.

Sarah serves as an Account Executive on the Treble team, with a focus on cybersecurity and cleantech clients. She comes to Treble by way of the Texas Tech Parents Association where she excelled as the Public Relations Coordinator. During her time with TTPA, she was instrumental in building a connected community around the students and the university. She also maintained relationships with local media and led campaigns to maximize awareness for the association. She holds a Bachelor’s in Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies. Outside of the office, you can find Sarah spending time with her dog, Zeppelin, or enjoying the ultimate food scene in Austin.

Lindsly is an Austin-based Account Executive by way of Nashville, Tennessee. Her passion for writing led her to The University of Mississippi School of Journalism and New Media, where she earned her B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications, with an emphasis in PR. Right out of college she was selected and thrust into the startup realm, where she worked for Eyeris leading press, social media and events as the Marketing Manager.
